Genung and Bennett, described cybersecurity as a coin because it has two side, one side for cyber attackers and threats which aim at disrupting cyber assets while the other side represent cybersecurity personnels whose goals are to prevent, protect and defend the cyber space and asset from attackers. Today we are going to learn about some tactics and trends in cyber threats and attacks.

As we have previously stated, cybersecurity is like a coin with two sides: those who attack and those who defend. Today we'll look at the defenders, also known as cybersecurity professionals. Cybersecurity professionals are individuals and organizations who work to prevent, protect, and defend digital assets against cyber attacks, ensuring that these assets and systems stay confidential, have integrity, and are accessible to authorized individuals and organizations. Although these individuals specialize in ensuring cyber security, it is crucial to recognize that everyone has a duty to play in protecting their own digital lives and the security of those around them.
